Gwynna Forgham-Thrift is a writer and producer whose work centers on sports, culture, politics, and queerness. Her writing appears in McSweeney’s, Reductress, and Above Average. In 2015, Gwynna was selected as a writer for the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, and wrote for theater’s house sketch night, Maude Night, as well as long-running monthly sketch shows The Queerball! Sketch Show and The Swamp: This Month in Politics. She’s also written and performed shows for the Duplex Cabaret and Caveat Theater, including her two-person stand-up/sketch show Dyke Power(point) and monthly stand-up show, Queer Tiger Beat. She wrote and directed a short film, Lucy and the Stars, which was an official selection at the Northside Film Festival. Gwynna loves the WNBA, being outside, and that time San Diego set off all of it's fireworks all at once by accident.
